Mission Explorers Streaming Video
http://www.kidstalkaboutgod.net/Home/MissionExplorers/tabid/64/Default.aspx

Imagine how incredible it would be if, instead of reading about missions and the courageous people who share the gospel in foreign countries, you could actually take your kids on an amazing video journey spanning four continents to visit these far-away places! There, they would experience what it would be like to live among the Fiji islanders or to visit a remote village in the heart of Africa. As a parent or Christian homeschooler, you can take your kids on such an extraordinary expedition - without ever leaving your home!

The Mission Explorers Streaming Video series is designed to show missions through the eyes and experience of the winner of the Children's Bible Contest, 11-year-old Hillary Welborn. Although the video series is itself great missions curriculum, we also offer accompanying written curriculum.

We can email you a free sample of this 13-lesson series. Click here to receive your free sample lesson.

The video series is currently available in its entirety, streaming on this website, or on DVD, which includes the entire series of videos and printable curriculum. Online viewing is always free. No registration required.

Kids Color Me Bible
http://www.kidstalkaboutgod.net/Home/KidsColorMeBible/tabid/190/Default.aspx

KCMB_Icon_Cover.gifThe Kids Color Me Bible is a printable online book. Each interactive chapter begins with a Bible story illustrated by a child artist, followed by a related question and several of the most interesting answers from kids. There’s also a space for the reader to fill in his/her own answer to the question. After the fun, upbeat commentary by Carey Kinsolving, we’ve included a newspaper-style page called Heaven Herald. We’ve dedicated this full page for the child to draw their own picture below a headline of the featured Bible story and included a place to fill in the name and age of the artist.

This innovative new book is jam-packed with excellent material that can be used in homeschool activities, devotionals, art projects or assignments. After children have completed several chapters, they can assemble them into their very own book. This is something parents will treasure as a keepsake.

Arts Festivals

Children gain confidence when they see their art and writing featured in a live event in which parents and relatives see childlike faith in action. Let children become the subject of ministry instead of the object by empowering and equipping them to share their faith.

Kids’ Christmas Arts Festival

“When I look up at the stars I see
a big star, and then it reminds
me of Jesus.” – Jed, age 7

Christmas is a favorite time of year for many children. Their enthusiasm and inspiration make it a great season to encourage them to draw and write about Jesus. Their work is sure to provide many touching reminders of what Christmas is really about.

Mother’s Day Arts Festival

"The Lord loves me so he made a person of
love and faith to tackle the job of me,
and that is my mom.” – Erica, age 7

There's no better Mother's Day activity than to create a forum for children to draw and write about their mothers. This is one of the most powerful festival themes because children speak from the heart about their moms. Adults and children will laugh and perhaps shed tears when they hear and see what children have said about their moms. In a previous festival a young boy said he loved his mom so much he would die for her. No one doubted his sincerity. This provided a great opportunity for the gospel to go forth effectively.

Custom Arts Festival

"Yellow dogs are in heaven because
the streets are made of gold.
They are both yellow." - John, age 6

Choose your own subject or holiday. The Bible is full of great subjects, such as heaven, angels, children in the Bible, creation, and so on. Or you may want to have a festival for Father’s Day, Memorial Day, Presidents’ Day, Thanksgiving or Easter, for example. You could even choose a current event as the focus. Get creative, and encourage kids to show through their writing and drawing what God and the Bible have to do with your festival’s subject.
